"ACTION!"
Introduction to Filmmaking for Migrants and Foreigners
ACTION! – Introduction to Filmmaking for Migrants and Foreigners is an initiative promoted by Raganella Production and Dr. Giancarlo Santone, psychiatrist and director of the Centro Salute Migranti Forzati in Rome, with the aim of providing migrant and foreign communities present across the national territory with access to training in filmmaking.
The project is part of a broader pathway of social inclusion and reintegration, using cinema as a tool for expression, education, and empowerment.
Through a 150-hour hands-on course, structured into interactive workshops, participants are able to explore the main stages of film production — from screenwriting to post-production — acquiring skills that are immediately applicable in the industry.
The production provides all the necessary filmmaking equipment to carry out the training activities, allowing students to work with professional tools from the very beginning of the program.
