Action! 2026
Action! 2026 is the second edition of a filmmaking training program aimed at young migrants and foreign nationals.
Course Structure
1. Film Language
Shots, camera movements, lighting, and color as visual storytelling tools. An introduction to the fundamental principles of audiovisual language and the creation of emotion on screen.
2. Creative Writing and Screenwriting
From idea to short film: dramatic premise, story concept, narrative structure, and screenplay development using Final Draft. Each student develops their own project; at the end of the course, one screenplay is selected for collective production.
3. Production and Filmmaking
Preparing a film set through script breakdowns, production schedules, production documents, and call sheets. Participants then collaborate in the making of the short film, gaining experience in the different roles within a film crew.
4. Editing and Post-Production
Organizing footage, video and audio editing, color correction, and finalizing the short film using DaVinci Resolve.
